A rear island bed with underbed storage, bedside tables and two wardrobes all closed off by a sliding to door give a level of privacy and peacefulness normally only ever dreamed of when away in a hotel. Just in front of this you’ll discover the domestic style shower cubicle separate from the remainder of the bathroom. The popular L-shaped lounge area, dressed in subtle Paola soft furnishings, creates seating for up to five people during the day, offering a homely space for relaxing and entertaining. Come night-time, a second double bed from the delicate body curves of the Zefiro 696 lowers down above the lounge using a smooth, electric mechanism.
Outstanding drive performance is provided by an all new Ford Transit chassis 2.0L 130BHP 6-speed engine for better fuel efficiency & reduced emissions. The added cruise control, cab air conditioning, DAB radio with Smartphone Navigation, steering wheel controls & electric heated mirrors are a fantastic bonus to the driver. Low line & expertly designed. The kitchen has everything from a 3 ring hob, oven/grill to a tall fridge/freezer, camping plates, cutlery, utensils making sure there is enough room for food & drink for everyone & separate washroom and shower cubicle.
Standard kit is extremely generous for the price including solar panel to power lighting and fridge for the ultimate wild camping option. Mains power hook up option. LPG gas for the heating and cooking, reversing camera, 4 bike rack, powerful 6kw combined electric/gas heating & hot water & low energy LED lights (these last longer & use a fraction of the energy, thus helping to preserve battery power). With all this space & equipment the 696 comes in at 3500kg, which means only a standard driving licence is required, so there are no restrictions for anyone wanting to drive.
